The Morris Center is growing. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (licensed in FL) to provide assessment and treatment services to a diverse population of clients. Join a team of professionals who are passionate and caring in the pursuit of excellence for diagnosis and transdisciplinary treatment of clients with speech-language disorders (Expressive Lang d/o, mixed receptive/expressive language d/o, articulation d/o, phonological processing deficits), learning disabilities (e.g. genetic dyslexia, LD in writing or reading), sensorimotor/developmental coordination disabilities (sensory integration and/or processing deficits), ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and/or related issues. In collaboration with the treatment team, the qualified Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct care (assessment and treatment of children and adults; case management/education with families; school liaison and parent education) and program development. Following a treatment protocol that has been in development since 1986, tested via three NIH funded research studies, The Morris Center typically achieves above average gains (>1 SD of improvement) in a few months of transdisciplinary and and intensive treatment.
